STEPHENTOWN'S MAYFLOWER FAMILIES

Many of the families that settled in Stephentown in the early days had roots with the families that came from England on the Mayflower. This page will feature as many of them as can be researched. Edward was a freeman 1658.

"Elkanath Watson, Edward Doty, Sr. and his son John Doty were all drowned on the 8th of February 1689 or 90."

On February 26, 1663 Edward married Sarah, daughter of John Faunce (ca 1607-29 Nov 1653) & Patience Morten (ca 1615-16 Aug 1691), at Plymouth, MA. b. ca. 1645 at Plymouth, MA. Sarah d. Scituate, Mass. on June 27, 1695. "My Sister Sarah the Wif of John Buck of Sittuat deceased on the 27th day of June 1695" recorded by Elder Faunce.
